Mary provides personalized training and workshops that educate, train, and inspire students, teachers, and parent groups to learn about and embrace Neurodiversity, Autism and Disability awareness, understanding, and acceptance.

 

Additional customized workshops are available that educate students about Inclusion, Social Emotional Learning, Welcome to a New School Year and Meeting a New Friend with Autism.

 

Together we can create school communities that embrace, understand and celebrate ALL students!

Available workshops include:

Autism 101: A great workshop to build an understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Autism Tools and Strategies: Learn how to utilize best practice, research based tools and strategies to help a student who is on the Autism Spectrum.

Collaboration 101: Learn successful ways to communicate and collaborate with families, regular and special education teachers, and other school staff who are supporting a student with special needs.

Inclusion 101: Mary will work with your school staff and PTO/PTA groups to help all members of your school community better understand what inclusion is, why it is so important, and answer questions or concerns that your school community may have abut inclusion.

My Friend with Autism: A Personalized Workshops for Students ages 5-10 Years: Invite Mary to your classroom to help students understand and celebrate a classmate who is on the Autism Spectrum! This special, inclusive classroom workshop helps students ages 5-10 years old learn about, understand, and celebrate a classmate who is on the Autism Spectrum. Each classroom will receive Mary’s book An ABC Story: A is for Autism (A story about an amazing girl named Annabelle)!

Welcome to a New School Year: The “Who Am I” Doll Workshop: A teacher workshop that is a fun and engaging activity to welcome in a new school year with fellow teachers and school staff. An added bonus is teachers leave with an interactive Who Am I Doll lesson ready to share with their students in the first few weeks of school.

Working with Families: We Are In This Together: A workshop that helps build bridges to collaboration between families and school staff working with a child/student with special needs
